Funny Baby

Connor is starting to get his own funny personality and changing every day. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. He has now rolled over from his stomach to his back twice. The first time it scared him but the second time that he did it he was so excited! He also is getting his first tooth! I noticed it over the weekend and was so shocked because I wasn't expecting it to come in so soon. It has been so much fun to watch him change so much! Oh and he is starting to laugh, like it sounds like a real laugh instead of just the cooing. It was funny, on Sunday when we were at church he had a poopy diaper, so I took him to the bathroom to change him. When I put him on the changing table he just started to laugh so hard when I would just look at him. It made me laugh so hard that I was crying haha! It took me a long time to change his diaper because I just could not stop laughing and neither could he :) He also has now been on his first road trip! We drove up to Utah with my mom, brother, and sister for my cousin Justin's Mission Farewell. Connor did so good in the car! The worst was when we were about 10 mins away from home and he just freaked out and had enough of the car. So we had to stop and give him a couple min break. Other than that he did pretty darn good!

Well, I'm sorry if everybody is getting bored with all of my posts being only about my son but really that is the most interesting thing that is going on with us right now. I really am one of those moms that like to talk about my kid all of the time and brag about how cute he is haha!


This is what I saw a couple of weeks ago after we took a car ride! It was so cute! He likes to look out the side of his car seat while I drive so I'm guessing he just couldn't fight the sleepness any longer while he was watching everything pass by really fast!

He is so funny every time he takes a bath. He always sits sideways in his tub. I have tried so many times to get him to sit the other way but he will always gets back to this position every time!

Connor is now showing interest in toys. This is the first time I gave him toys to play with and he didn't know what to do with them so he just sat there holding them like this. It was funny!

Update!

Well, I know I need to be so much better at posting on here. I always take pictures and say I need to post them on my blog and then I just never find the time because Connor seems to wake up every time I sit down to update my blog. So a lot has happened since my last post. I'll probably be putting a lot of pictures on here so just warning you now! :)

So, Connor is now 11 weeks old! Time has really gone by so fast and he is changing so much every day. He smiles and coos all of the time. Sometimes when I feed him he will stop and look up at me and just smile for a bit and then he will go back to eating. He will also always smile and stare at Jason no matter what he does. The other day we were in the car with my parents going to lunch and the whole ride over there he just stared at Jason. It's so funny! He just loves his uncle. He also is starting to try and sit up all of the time. When you hold his hands he will pull himself up, it's so cute! He was starting to sleep pretty much 6-7 hours a night but the past few nights he has been deciding to wake up every 3 hours. What does he think he is...a baby??? haha! Oh well, all of the sleepness nights are totally worth it. I feel so blessed to be Connor's mom! I could not have asked for a better kid!

Well, I offically quit my job and UOP!!!! yay!! I do miss driving to work and eating lunch with James everyday. And I also miss the people I worked with, but I love my job of staying home with Connor so much more! Connor and I have gone back to visit everybody once and will probably be doing that every now and then! It's a lot more fun to be there when I don't have to be on the phone with mad students. :)

My brother Jason returned from his mission in Rochchester, New York at the end of March. We were all very excited to see him again! We are all very proud of him, he did such a great job on his mission. He has grown so much from the experience but he did keep his sense of humor. That has not changed one bit!

A couple weeks ago I brought Connor into the bathroom with me while I got ready. He was being a bit fussy until I turned on the hair dryer. When I turned it off he started crying again. So I turned it back on and he was totally fine. So I decided to just keep the blow dryer going the whole time I got ready.

A couple mins later I look at him and he is sound asleep!

Well, Shanna this is for you :) She asked that I post more pics of Connor because I haven't put more on here in awhile, and yes he has grown since the last time I posted pics! We had his 2nd doctor's appointment on Saint Patricks day. He now weighs 10 lbs 1 oz and is 22 1/4 in long. So he has grown quite a bit, it is probably because he won't stop eating. He is so much fun to have around! He is starting to "talk" a lot and smile more. I hope we get a laugh out of him soon. He really is a happy baby!

Miracle!!

Connor is exactly one week old in this picture!

Well I have two miracles! My first is of course the birth of my adorable son Connor James Stone!!! He was born on Feb. 10th at 9:48 pm. He weighed 9 lbs 2 oz and was 21.25 in long. He has been so much fun so far and is changing all of the time. Now my second miracle is that I have finally posted on my blog. yay!! After having my blog now for a couple of months I have decided to actually do something with it. I know a lot of you have been telling me to do this for quite some time so I am now listening to you! The main reason is that I just haven't had that much time. Connor has kept me quite busy, but now that I am starting to get the hang of being a mom I have found more time to get online! So I'm going to try and be a lot better at updating my blog :) But here are a few pictures for your enjoyment!!
