4 months!

Monday Connor had his 4 month check up. He is getting to be such a big boy already! He now weighs 16 lbs 8 oz, which is in the 75th percentile, and his height is 27 1/4 in, which his Dr. said was the average height of a 10 month old. haha! I guess that makes sense why he is wearing some of his 9 month clothes. I believe he is going to be tall just like Daddy! :) He also had to get another round of his immunizations, which he did not like at all. And I just don't like him getting the shots because it makes him so uncomfortable for about a day. He got a fever just like he did last time, and I think all together he just felt awful because he was not a happy baby, and he is always my happy smiling baby!

Well, I am loving watching Connor grow and change! He is just such an amazing baby. I think my new favorite sound is his laugh!! He also is rolling over all of the time now from his back to his stomach. It's funny that the first time he rolled over it was from his stomach to his back and now he can't seem to do it again. I think the next step will be crawling because I can tell he wants to move around everywhere, but I hope we still have a little while longer before he starts doing that. :)

I took this picture this morning after he woke up!
Our feet! I think we have the same toes. I just hope he does
not get my small feet. To get an idea how small my feet are,
his feet are almost half the size of mine, haha!

  2. He is at a good weight! Joel kept gaining until he was 4 months (20 lbs) and has only gained about 2 lbs over the last 4-5 months. The rapid growth does slow, I promise. Unfortunately, they say bigger babies take longer to crawl. Joel is just now figuring it out, but is trying to walk along the furniture as well. It is crazy how much they learn and grow!
